In 2001 we were voted the best start-up company of the year. (both in the state of Vienna and for Austria).

Mercur Innovation Award 2002

1979

Founding of Mecanotronic

Foundation of the company under the name Mecanotronic.

1989

Hiromatic

First BMS controller with a graphic display solution.
1990

First Award

Industrial Design Award (the hiromatic product families not only receives international recognition but also wins awards for the innovative design).
1997

New Name

Management buy out by Dipl.-Ing. Andreas Günser and renaming to MEC electronics.
1997

Microface

First freely programmable BMS controller.
1997

Hong Kong

Hong Kongs 5th tallest skyscraper The Center is the first building in Hong Kong that gets equipped with underfloor airconditioning provided by the MEC Microface product family.
2001

Second Award

Best start-up company in Vienna and Austria.
2002

Third Award

Mercur 2002 Award in Information/Communication.
2003

Menara Telekom Tower

The Menara Telekom Tower in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, gets equipped with underfloor airconditioning provided by the MEC Microface product family.

New Office

MEC electronics moves to 20th district in Vienna.

First fully graphical display.

ETOUCH

The first generation of the ETOUCH series.

Compact extensible high-performance controller with 14 inputs/outputs.

MECMETER

In addition to an ethernet port, mecMeter also offers Wi-Fi and Powerline connectivity (supporting AV/AV2 – standards).

Display Module 1

The MEC smart touch display family gets a new “heart” the DM1 PCB includes a myriad of innovations and functions for our customers.
